Heydarian: Cinema is not a political stage

Mohammad Mehdi Heydarian who was speaking at the opening ceremony of the celebrations for the national day of cinema, on night of September 10th at the Asgharzadeh Cinema in Mashhad, continued: political cinema is a serious genre but lowering cinema to periodically political usage is a mistake that our colleagues need to avoid.
Heydarian reminded that: In the last week we were able to shine on the world's stage with Mrs. Rakshan bani etemad in the field of judging, Vahid Jalilvand in the field of directing, Mr. Namazi in the field of writing and Navid Mohammadzadeh in the field of acting. This shows that we did a good job in the cinematic field.
He added: we need diversity in the field of cinema and we must target everyone and consider the international horizon in a closer future and use technology to show our ideas and culture.
